Personalized Wedding Favours
If you’re looking for that unique wedding favour, then you’ve probably been down the same road as newlyweds Aamir and Farah. We had the pleasure of meeting the happy couple in the summer of 2014 and worked with them to prepare a flavourful and healthy wedding favour – tins of personalized loose-leaf tea made just for their guests!
After deciding on tea, the two had some all too familiar questions such as: “How do we order and package this for over 400 guests? What type of tea should we get? Who offers a wedding friendly budget?”. Fortunately, Aamir learned about our automated tea kiosk! After a few quick email exchanges, we had the couple at our workshop using teaBOTTM to customize and sample a variety of blends
We had a great time exploring the flavour possibilities with Aamir and Farah. It was the first time we pushed our prototype to produce so many cups of teas in such a short period of time. Unbeknownst to the couple, we even had a quick update to the kiosk midway through the sampling session!
Tasting and blending was the fun part! After they picked their favourite, we set our sights on sourcing and fulfilling the order of over 400 tins. We also worked with the two to create a personalized label for their guests. These were a hit at the wedding – guests couldn’t wait to try the delicious blend!
Aamir and Farah’s blend, which they named “Love is Brewing”, is now a staff favourite and has seen many iterations since. The exact combination of creamy nut oolong and masala chai is only known to them. Congratulations Aamir and Farah and thanks for personalizing with teaBOTTM!
